I saw the trailer for 2 fast 2 furious last night.

To be honest I was really looking forward to it coming out, as I'm a big fan of the first one....BUT......

Having seen the trailer I'm not so sure..... its not like anything I can put my finger on, just this creeping feeling that its gonna be shite:(

The first on wasnt great. Scenes where short and often pointless. 10 second races lasted 2 minutes. People do not turn their engines off straight away after a race. Derrrrr!

Surpa went from a burnt out wreck to fully running 600bhp car with a new spray job in just a week or so. I think some one better take them to GPS and show them cars that have been worked on for months, or PPS where you have to wait months just to book it in and then the months for the job to be done.

I think its just gonna be the same old stuff. It was different when it came out but it will be old school by the time the 2nd comes out, but I believe that hords of Corsa, Pug and Saxo boys will still take their girlfriends to see it, (If thier girlfrends are old enouh ;)) which will make it a success.

If Vin Diesel wasnt in the first, it wouldnt have done well. He is a great actor and I hope that he isnt stereo typed into those sort of macho roles. I think he is making a chameo appearance.

At the very end of the credits we see Dom driving through Mexico in another Dogde Charger, and that would be a perfect story line to follow. But no, we follow Paul Walker.

I have seen the cars too. Nice but just the same old crap of they just look good.

The reason its Paul Walker by himself is that Vin wanted a huge payout from universal to do it , and when it wasnt forthcoming he walked. (on the subect of stereotyped macho roles have you seen A Man Apart - its really bad , and he produced it!)

Anyway you cant give Paul Walker a hard time , after all this is the guy who after the first film sold his porsche and bought a modded R34 , which I believe he then went dragging in at NIRA events:p

Yeah I believed that he did buy a R34, because he loved the whole street rece thing. But apparaently he bought it straight from Japan already highly done up which is not what it is all about is it?

I know that Vin Diesel does porduce stuff. He is actually an award winning producer, writer and director.
