Hi all, got both bulbs need replacing in the driving lamps at the front, already been told Halfords H1's are what I need so I have a pair of those.... but how do I go about removing the lights? Both screws idly turn at the front so I'm guessing there's a nut round the back? or am I doing this all wrong!??! :)

It's an import, right ????

You have to remove the indicators and get to the three 10mm nuts behind the spotlight.

yep... tis an import!

So I have to remove the top light cluster to get to the lower ones?

Am I being thick!? :)

The indicators are beside the fog/spot lights ....

I think I have wiring issues!!

those light up on mine as the sidelights... the square ones on their own underneath come on as the fog/driving lights!?

take it that's completely wrong?

I've got an import - its a 5 min job - The screw you are turning is the aiming screw! _ I made the same mistake at first.

You need to remove the indicator lens just to the side of the fog lamp - when this is out you can get at the retaining nuts on the inside of the bumper right behind the fog lamp - When you have undone these - it just pulls out from the front.

Aha!!! that would make more sense! :)

I'll have a go at that later then... bloody typical it's now raining.. hmph...

Nix, by the way they are H3 bulbs not H1, and you have to change the spade connector on the new ones to a bullet type.

Cut and splice the old ones to the new bulbs.

Worked for me.

Also best to use 55w with the 50% brighter output Phirrips I thinK.

H3's for the foglamps?! Got told H1's here... I knew I had to chop up the Headlamp bulbs for a fit, but for the fog lamps thought it was just a standard job?

Yep!

H1 - Main beam

H3C - Dip, you can get them from PIAA, 85W ( 55w draw) super white.

H3 - Fog
