There is some guy on the Z forum with two brand spanking new engines for sale for 2750 ONO, sounds like a bargain to me!

Are you gonna go for forged pistons/headgaskets/overbore while its in bits?

 

I did this (plus turbos) while the engine was out for new valves (due to snapped cam pulley).

 

The total cost including loads of sundries I thought I better have changed while it was out (oil pump, bits of loom, ring gear,starter motor) was around 8.5k inc vat - but you can knock 2k off for the turbos.

 

I know its a lot dearer than a sh or recon engine, but considering the amount of mods you've got, making it as bulletproof as possible seems like a good idea - this is the route I'm taking anyway.
