Anyone know how big our reserve is on the Z's? (fuel)

I say this I was stuck in the middle of nowhere yesterday and thought I was going to run out of petrol for definate. Way, way off the scale! Drove for 45 minutes before I found a petrol station........AND in the wrong direction but it was a SHELL! Must've done 25 miles!

I was getting so stressed....shouting out loud "where the fukc is a petrol station round this place!?" (to myself cos no-one else was in the car!)

  ............but then :D

I've been told about 20 miles worth.

Most manufacturers give you 1 gallon of reserve fuel (so I reckon about 8 miles under 'normal' driving ! :D )

I think it will vary on every car. When the light comes on on mine I usually do around 20-25 miles before I fill up. Then it usually takes 60-65 litres. So there is still another 7 approx in the tank. I reckon in my case it's around 2 gallons or 40 miles..

I was just gratefully surprised!!!

I was driving like a nun though.......should drive like that more often, I might get more than 25 miles from a tenner!
