Can some clarify a few things for me.

The Racelogic system should cut the pulse to the fuel injectors and therefore limit the power through to the wheels.

Why do I get clouds of black unburnt fuel behind me when the traction control kicks in?

Are there some default preferred setting for the Z?

You shouldn't get this if you still have your cats in.

I'll put the basic settings I have on my car on my web site toinight. I still have stock wheels so you'll need to modify this slightly.

From this you should be able to tweak it up a bit untilyou are comfortable.

Stuart,

I would be interetsed to see your settings

I have removed my cats completely.

I don't think there should be any unburnt fuel present on the basis that the injectors are cut!

I'm a little concerned where this coming from and why it is happening!

It does not sound right steve. But the injector pulse is not cut 100%

Hi Warren,

How are things? Haven't spoken in a while!

I think I need to review my settings to see whats happening.

Dave is a bit concerned that it isn't doing my engine any good!

Catch up with you soon.

Steve

The Traction Contol cuts the spark of the engine causing a misfire so to speak but rotates the cylinder used as not to cause any damage.

With Cats the fuel will burn up going through them, but without Cats the fuel will come out of the exhaust.

Andy,

Where do I get hold of the windows software for the traction control configuration?

Thanks Steve

No it doesn't, it cuts the injector pulse.

It definately does cut the injectors as when my TC earth lead came loose the car turned over and had a spark but no fuel.

It took me ages to find why the car wouldn't start!
