Auto box delivery help

I wonder if anyone can help. I have a black 90TT jap import with an auto box. At junctions for example, when I start off I press the accelerator and nothing happens for a second and then the car moves! the engine is warm and this has only started happening. It is like there is a dead zone at the intial stage of acceleration. There are no judders when the box moves up a gear. only happens in first. Any one help?? Cheers Ian

    Yeah, I've also had this on my Jap 90TT Auto, but it's intermittant so I'm not sure why it does it. I would also be interested to hear from anybody that knows what's going on.

    I wonder if the TPS is at fault here? Might be worth a check with a multimeter to make sure it registers properly and smoothly?
