Hello guys,

Can anyone suggest something to remove very light scratches in plastic. I thought wet and dry paper and my brother has suggested toothpaste - any ideas?

Cheers

what sort of plastic? for a PDA or phone?

you just really need to use something that will fill in the scratches as the raggedness of them will cause the uneven refraction of light.

This is what you need vijay, the dogs mate, you can get it from most motor factors like Browns or Partco or Bodyshop factors, just to prove it works, got a nasty scratch across me new HKS EVC display screen(clear plastic)when it was put in,treated it with Finesse-it and it now looks as good as new, have used it for years on all types of surfaces, superb for paint scratches too,had a nasty set of sratches on my rear wing ,so today spent 10 mins on it with the stuff and now it looks like new with a glass like sheen reflection,it costs around £13 a Litre bottle will last you for years!;)

Seems like good stuff - must try it. Thanks.

Geoff.
