Petrol repair bonding chemical looks to be spot on if you have a leaking fuell tank, of course all normal safety precautions are required and after any repair it is best kept observed for a while.

How close was leaking fuel to the exhaust?

Thanks only started within the last 3 months aswell.

 

I think the reason that it was pissing out in the picture is because the strap was removed, but cheers Jeff, looks like a smashing job.

 

I don't mean to go on about it but this is the reason why maintenance is so important. My Z is at Zedworld every 12-15 weeks. I get the usual maintence jobs done, and also a few goodies to keep me sweet.

 

Just like anything else, these cars need attention. Don't forget that, for those who don't know, they are very underrated. Getting something thats nearly 2 ton to make 60 in just over 5 is nothing to snort at. I know I'm not telling you anything you don't already know but I think it's a shame that the market value for such a muscle car is getting killed, especially, when it has proven to stand the test of time.

 

I don't know where I'm going with this but a word to you all, please please please help the Z to live on.
