Does it need core change?

Who sells it?

My borther wants to raise the boost and I've heard that SE chips are equally good as JWT ones.

Start from £125 I believe. Not sure whether that includes socketing your ECU. They prefer to fit it for you because then the chips are less likely to be damaged by static etc.

Bear in mind that their chips are specifically setup for UK fuel, not sure whether yours will be different.

Anyway, if you are searching the world for chips then I think it would be worth considering the HiTech ones from Australia, they are still developing even now. Most companies seem to have stopped a few years ago.

What's to stop you from creating your own chips?

A thread on here had a link to a site that explained how to go about it.

Someone's lending me an EPROM programmer! ;) so I'm gonna have a go. Just hope I don't pop my engine

Saying that, not much chance of me doing that at the mo cos my gearbox is out! Awaiting RPS clutch from Smithy.

Ahh well I have all the gubbins to burn my own chips, just not sure I'm brave enough to trash my own engine though !

And my RPS clutch is being fitted Friday morning .....

What sort of power increase can you expect from this mod!!

and what would it do to a stock engine

cheers

Dave

SE Chip I have found to be pretty good cost me £200 inc socketing. Think the chip on its own is around £100.

Zed ran well with it but with the small handfull of mods, Pete (SE Boss Man) is having to re-tune.

Which unfortunatly is taking some time. Chip still worth a buy as an off the shelf item.

Yes, they are a company based in Maldon, Essex. UK
