Shouldnt have to swap it. Find out what the resistence is. In the online manual there is info on what the resistence should read with throttle off. Try that.

Thanx

but how do you get on it!!!!!!!!!!!

tried b4 but cannot seem to

Dave

Can you not get the tick over down by loosening the screws on the tps, when you turn it the revs go up or down.

When i took mine off to clean it, when i put it back on tickover was at 2 grand because i hadnt put it back on in the same position as i took it off, one quick twist and it was sorted!!

The TPS should ideally, range around 0.4 at idle and 4.0 at full throttle.

If you are near someone who has a conZult, they may be able to help you out.

If not use a multimeter to check the voltage.

It's worth running an ECU diag first to see if the TPS is at fault or just needs adjusting. If it's at fault then you may get error code 43.

I am a bit of a drive from you, but if you are likely to be coming out to my neck of the woods, I could run a conZult diag on it for you and see what's causing the problem.
