i will be looking to buy one within the next 8 months and was looking to spend around £6k for a tt t-bar also what is insurnace like on them as this will only be used as a weekend car and garaged most of the time cheers:)

Yeah that should buy a decent one, but like anything you get what you pay for, my advice would be to check out a few to make comparisons as they can vary in condition dramaticaly

Insurance is quite high, but if you get one 10 years old or older which most are now, you can get it on classic insurance. :D

 

£6,000 should buy you a good 92-93 Z, look at a few first. If you see a few dog ones you will appretiated the good ones more.

 

You want one with lots of history, and read through it to see what has been done and what hasnt.
