Guys, I need help and advise on 19" wheels plz!!!

Someone I know is selling some 19" OZ Antares.

8x19 Fronts

8.5x19 Rears

They have 235/35/19 on fronts and 265/30/19 rubber on rear. PCD is 114.3 x 5 and the Offset is 50mm.

Now the questions are:

Will they directly go on my Z?

If not, will they fit with the Spacers?

and if they can fit with the spacers, what size spacers do i need and would i need to buy extended studs aswell?

He lives very far from me so it will be extremely difficult to try them on before buying so i will really appreciate your input to this matter because it will help me decide whether or not i want those wheels

My car is a SWB TT (Jap auto).

Thanks

Am,

Ring Johnny or Latz at GPS or Peter at PPS. Motion styling have supplied me, Macca and Chris(I think) with our wheels so they might be able to advise you. Johnny has 19" Blitz wheels on his Z.

;)

When I spoke to Johnny he said he wish he didnt get 19s. It caused his car to tram line and the ride in the car was so hard it was uncomfortable. He wished he got 18's instead.

Stuart

Yep 19's can be extreme, I think Johnny boy was having trouble with tyre sizes aswell on the Blitz wheels. Look nice though! ;)

But the Mrs Turbo has kerbed both my back wheels which are Azevs, so they're not that expensive. I am still gutted though and if they had been Blitz jobbies I would be slashing wrists even as we speak. Wheels are round things which have rubber attached to keep you on the road. Think carefully about replacing that rubber as it gets very, very expensive when you opt for 19's.

Yeah right. Now tell the truth!

265 tyres sound a bit big for 8.5" rims to me?

My fronts are 8.5" with 245's and they are over the edge of the rim.

I've got 285's on 10" rims on the rear and I could maybe have fitted 295's but they would be about as big as I could go.

I know the width will be slightly different on a 19" rim to my 18's but even so...

LMFAO :D

When I got the car back from Peters it went to Nelson for an MOT. Mrs T took it and when it came back I noticed that the back left hand wheel had been kerbed!

Macca told me to be careful parking kerbside as with the wide arse your back end is stuck out more then the front.

I check my car over every day bud, I know where every mark or stone chip is.

When I park next to a kerb I don't care if I'm 5 foot off the edge, I paid for all that bodywork, wheels and tyres...she didn't but she gets to drive it! She is a car wrecker and went through two Range Rovers like a hot knife through butter! ROFLMFAO :D

In fact, why the fcuk do I let her drive it at all??? :D

So answer to your question is SHE DID IT!!! ;)

LOL My "mrs" is just the same.

I got her a S/H Vectra (Revenge!) last year and it was mint.

I sold it this month and after giving it a good wash (don't think she had EVER done it) I found about 7 bad dings in the panels, a key scratch right down the drivers side almost through to the metal, a large dent in the middle of the rear skirt, large patch of scraped paint with scratches down the side of the rear bumper and paint badly knocked off the edges of each door.

She knows nothing about any of them and says they must have been other people.

Well fair enough over about 3 years ownership you might get 1 or 2 knocks but this is ridiculous for 9 months.

Now she wants to borrow my newly sprayed and kitted Z... erm let me think... **** YOU BITCH!

Thanks for all the help guys. I don't think I will go for these wheels anymore coz i may be needing Spacers to fit them on and the width is a bit narrow (8.5 at rear) to what i would like.

I agree with you Chris-i personally did think that 265 was a bit wide for 8.5" wheels TBH

Thanks again

Cleaned my other half's car this weekend for her as well.. she has to take a photo for the cappucino owners club... nightmare.. never seen so much tar attached to a car.. ended up spending most of the afternoon with a bottle of t-cut. Also managed to find two ding's in the roof panel... still quite chuffed with the end result... got me a 'prize' too ;)
