I think i have a boost leak somewhere because with .8 jets I am running 12 PSI and without them i am running 7.5 PSI

Idle is fine and there is no hesitation and the car is generally running really well, no error codes either

been round the car with a piece of tube stuck to my ear but can't seem to find any leaks

Sorry meant to say anybody have any ideas of where to look next :)

sorry mate cant help, but my car is running like a dream since i fitted the boost jets u gave me,will be on a rolling road in the not so distant future ill up date u .....

once happened to me.. but realised that one of the hose connecting to my GReddy ProfecB Boost controller came off...

Avalaugh , glad the jets are working for you

Lack300 Iam running a Mines ECU

Like i say the car is running really well i just thought with .8 jets i would get closer to 14PSI perhaps i need .6 jets:confused:

Lack300 Jets are fitted in the two pipes which come of the inlets that lead to the plenum at the front of the car , must be in the right place because when i remove them i get 7PSI

I would take the jets out till you sort it, as we dont really know what boost you should be pushing with the jets as they are very hit and miss. Least then we know when we sort the leak beacuse you will have 9PSI.

You can try pressurising the engine with a home made blocker and air line you put over there the air box goes, blow in the air and listen for any leaks. You will be able to hear then because the engine will be off.

have you checked your timing. 15degrees max but 13 would be safer seeing as you are using a jap ecu. are you using an aftermarket gauge. buy a ht lead connect 1 end to the plug the other end to the coil pack on plug one, connect a strobe to the lead and check timing advance at idle.

i had this problem with jizz'is car going into safety boost 6-7 psi instead of 9 we sorted that problem though. now running 14psi all day no problem.

Lack300 Timing is spot on 15 and I am using an aftermarket gauge to get the reading

If it was in safety boost would it not go in to this aswell with jets fitted ie run 7 instead of 12 ????

I have a profec A sat in the garage perhaps i should just fit that

you must have a leak in the actuator line as fitting jets(welding tips) holds back the opening so you would deffinatly be getting more boost with welding jets fitted. have you used jubilee clips as the standard spring ones are poo, once dissconected throw away. 1.4mm tips gave me 12psi 1.2=13.5 and 1mm gave me 15psi,

have you done an ecu check? are you getting code 3 4....

checked for codes and getting good old 55.

the actuator pipes are a little frail up the top where i put the jets perhaps there is a small hole or split below the jets, I will change the piping tom

well i def am getting more boost nearly 6psi with jets

1mm = 15psi i must have a hole somewhere like i said will put new ones on tom see if it makes a difference

how far do you live from bedford as you could bring it over and i will have a look for ya.......:)

Cheers for the offer Lack but Bedford is about 200 mile round trip for me , nice of you to offer though mate
