Difference in exhaust sound after De-Cat and Induction.

For people who want to know what the difference in sound is when you do something to your car, here is a little clip I have made.

Both are of the Traction Control rev limiter.

The first one in the day, is stock airbox (I think) with a Mongoose Exhaust and cats are in place.

The second, at night, is with an Apexi induction, same Mongoose exhaust and DeCatted down pipes.

Sounds best on a good speakers not little ones and turn up the bass a little as its sounds deeper in real life.

Its a DivX film, and bout 1.5mb.

sounds cool, what rpm do you have your limiter set at?

mines around 5500 rpm for launch control lol, how do you change it again?

without software?

Start the engine, press the launch button twice but hold it down on the second time. Rev your engine to the required level and then release the button.

I dont know if you have to have that dongle on though. Dont think you do.

Stuart.

Make sure it'snot in gear though LOL.

The Launch has two settings one for dry and one for wet.

I have my wet setting at 3,300 rpm and my dry at 4,300.

As Stuart says above you press, then press and hold and rev the engine, but have the dial switched to the wet setting for the wet and all others (except off) for the dry setting.
