I was pulling out from a side road (standing start), turning right onto a main road in Bristol. The zed decided to amuse itself by turning an extra 180 degrees and move back across the road, much to the surprise (and subsequent demise) of an oncoming car. Both cars were pointing in the same direction when they collided at no more than walking speed, so nobody was hurt in the slightest. The other chap's car is probably a write off. I am waiting to hear from the assessor what is to become of mine.
Both cars were towed from the scene, so I do not have any gory picture to post.
The visible damage was :
Passenger side front wing crushed,
Headlight smashed,
Front Bumper broken,
Dent to rear panel around the petrol cap.
The car is a jap import (insurance group 20), and I am just settling the insurance from having my last car stolen last Christmas Eve (with my family's XMAS dinner in the boot).
I am therefore intending to apply to the IMF for assistance with next years premium.
