I need to get hold of some silicon lubricant but I don't know what it is or where I can get it. I went down to Halfords and B&Q and couldn't find anything which called itself silicon lubricant.

Can anyone help ? Is it a grease of some sort ? I need it for the chassis of my paramotor and given the fact that a failure would be more than a little catastrophic, I'm kind of keen to get the right stuff !

Cheers

Dave

You're so predictable Waz !!! I notice that you didn't offer to lend me some from your personal stash.

I can't find any useful hits on diy.com though !

Thanks everyone. I ended up finding some at Maplins and it did the job. Good stuff - lubricates well and not at all sticky.

Shell also do it but I didn't get it from them as it wasn't heavy enough.

You could have strapped a brick to the can and saved yourself a drive to Maplin ;)
