Was wondering how long it would take ;)

 

Pulled up at a set of lights on a dual carrageway and a modded Cav pulled up next to us.

I wasn't interested till I saw three baseball caps looking at us ;)

 

When the lights went my girlfriend put her foot down fairly hard.

Upto 70 the Cav was nowhere in sight so she indicated left and pulled into the left hand lane slowing to 45mph.

5 or so seconds later the Cav screamed past us at about 90mph and carried on down the road.

 

Why???

 

I can't understand why he took that long to catch up, infact we had slowed to approx half his speed when he overtook :p

But he still carried on by himself, as if he's trying to prove something ;)

I don't believe in burning fuel for no reason but it was nice to stretch the Zeds legs a little and we didn't even have to try too hard...

Which is nice :p

 

And she did us proud :D

I get that too, as if it makes thier car faster :S

 

 

Now is the girlfriend driving your Z a blessing or a curse?

For me its the latter.

I don't mind my Girlfriend driving my Zed, I'd been drinking so it's a blessing :)

She's also a good driver who doesn't say no to the odd traffic light Grand Prix :p

I had a Nova burn it past me in a 30 yesterday, bouncing off the limiter and nearly hitting on coming traffic.

I'd have been embarressed to have used petrol for him :p

it was me and my mate in his cav, it was a close race too, you were ahead till end of 2nd but only just then we whooped your datsun ass yeeee ha

Must be like the supercharged Cavalier and Calibra that we wupped on the way to Trax last year in convoy with PaulG and Macca.

They disappeared into the distance in the rearview mirror at 165mph as we backed off!

... and WE have pictures to prove it LOL

No Chris,that was Trax!

 

Road conditions were spot on,no traffic so we get to 167 and the turbo cav and calibra were tiny dots:D

When they got down to Trax they asked how fast we were going,then the guy tells me he backed off at 150 ROFLLMFFFFFAO:D:D:D yea right!:rolleyes:
