Smokey Z @ TSC Day

Just got back from my appearence at the SXOC Top Speed Challenge day at RAF Woordbridge.

 

A dissapointing day for me, best 1/4 for me was 13.90 @ 105 MPH. Top speed was a lousey 153 mph (at least I know my speedo is 10 MPH out, nice 'n' easy to work out).

 

My day ended early when my Z decided to go very very smokey on it's 3rd run. Turns out a pipe popped off the back of the engine and bunged oil everywhere.

 

Managed to limp home, so it'l be up at SE for another six months whilst they put another pipe on.

 

Was quite spectacular apparently, so someone there may posts vids. Will have to keep an eye on SXOC forum for that.

 

Well that's my fun Sunday :rolleyes:

    times are not that bad , at least you havent made any excuses lol, have you seen the thread on sxoc about the times, everyone whos posted so far had something wrong with there car lmao.

    LOL the pic I posted was Eds car;) but look as you can see there is no roof deflector on mine:p
