Tapping noise!!!

Is this common or what i have 2 zeds and both tapping like a demented wood pecker, but on my auto it stops after few sec but the manual just goes on and on. I been told that they have hydrolic lifters [24 of em] and can be a nightmare to pin point.

Is this correct or should i look @ a different angle.

    Yes it is normal for them to tap when cold started, but only for a second or two, if it doesnt stop then you have a problem. Whats the oil like? Last change? Good level? Good Pressure?
