OK, this is a long shot - but before I place an order with Courtesy for same - does anyone have a duff speed sensor from a USA spec (160MPH speedo'd) 300ZX TT!

I just want the gearing so that I can convert my speedo to an accurate 160MPH! I purchased great gauges from eBay for 26USD

and the gear costs 14USd plus postage - it's a no brainer!

Any help appreciated!

I have asked this myself and no one had one and no one had a clue whether a US speed sensor will make the speedo work on the same scale as the US dial.

What is interesting if you put a UK dash into a Jap car, still with its Jap speed sensor, the dial will read in MPH correctly and not KPH what a Jap dash is.

Mmmmmmmmmmmmmm - its an interesting point.

My Jap speedo (180KPH speedo) is running via a standard KPH/MPH converter and is now accurate! I think that if I change the gearing on the speed sensor to that of a basic US spec car running a 160MPH speedo (Following is for manual transmission- the non turbo uses a 20 tooth gear - the turbo uses a 18 tooth gear) then that should even things out (assuming I have fitted my 160MPH faced gauges!

Does this make sense to anyone - my brain hurts!!
