Hi,

My new rear spoiler arrived today from Z Centre - "supra(agh) style.

So I've booked it into a local recommended body shop for the end of the month.

Can't wait to see the brute on.

Geoff.

Hi Geoff,

Just one bit of advice, find out how they fix it on and seal the join. I had it fitted by a bodyshop that I knew and they done the seal with mastic and twice it was painted and twice it cracked. My car went to PPS and he removed the mastic and used fibreglass (I believe) to fill the gap - no cracking since.

Oh yeah, Peter (PPS) removed the spoiler with a bit if brute force as the person who put it on originally didn't bond it properly

Better to check first :)

Good luck,

Vijay

Hi Vijay,

Thanks for advice - I did go through the procedure with the guy. But I'll speak to Luke at Z Centre to check again. The guy from body shop is also going to bolt it on.

Thanks,

Geoff.

Which one did you get mate, you got any pics?????i need to get one pretty soon as my original one is starting to rot i so cant decide which one to go for plus i dont want it to look over the topcheers

Marc:)

Hi Marc,

Thanks mate.

I've got the ZC006A from the Z Centre, it comes with the brake light - it is supra style. I've got the perspex piece to go above lights to fill in the void after taking off the OEM spoiler.

You can see pics of it on the Z Centre website.

Cheers,

Geoff.

did Luke warn you to be very careull with the perspex bit?? it's VERY fragile (if not supported from both ends when lifting it). The guy who fitted my first one cracked it:(

Vijay

Yeah Vijay - Luke warned me

Geoff.

Luke @ The Z Centre is a top man.

I bought rear wing and perspex piece off him a while ago now.

Geoff mate

What sort of price is it all costing, for the fitting etc.

I want one for mine as well.

Cheers Dave.

hi Dave,

the spoiler from the Z Centre is £200+vat, the perspex piece without brake light is £35 + vat and I'm paying a body shop £250 for fitting and spraying.

Geoff.
