Can be upto 100 miles so ive read but it normally takes less, either way it should be sorted by the end of today.;)

Supposed i ought to go to bed now having just watched my hero get beaten.

my ecu took about 35 miles of the most uncomfortable driving (and quite worrying) before returning normal again, bad idle, hesitant, over revving etc... thought it was going to give up ao me, then whhooooooooshhh:D

Thanks, will not be too stressed if things get a bit choppy then!,will be out n about today so we'll see;)

Poor running is not due to the ECU learning, that must have been down to a problem with one or more sensors, which fixed themselves - eg bad electrical connections on temp sensor and FICD.

coincidence, after resetting your ecy, ther is no noticible difference as such.

My car is really no different at driving when I have reset the ECU.

Once or twice it didnt start first time just after I reset it but I heard that may happen sometimes and is nothing to worry about.

However I can tell that the car is not doing as good MPG for the 100 miles or so

Stuart.

Ok,i have done around 100 miles today(visiting another z owner).Z seemed a bit slugish for around the first 50 miles, then improved alot,on way home it went realy realy well, will say one thing, the roar from the induction when opening it up was superb, worth the extra cost for that alone, and what a great day for it,dry, sunny, not much traffic, total heaven, talk about enjoyment, what price could you put on that especially out in the z!:D :D ;)
