What the.....

It's always right!!!!

ok someone please explain how the fook that works  and BigRoy post in the RIGHT SECTION please :D:D (I don't make the rules just enforce them) call me mr. plod ;)

there are only so many numbers that you can generate from picking two numbers then subtracing them.

They are multiples of nine and a few extra ones, it just makes those numbers the same symbol every time, but rotates the symbol so the intellectually challenged don't realise and get over excited :):D:D:D:D

LMAO so it obviously tricked you aswell bwhaha :D

LOL....My word....something that knows my mind better than I do! :D

I've been wanting a 300zx now for ages and have planned one for April 2004 (don't ask), but now seeing as most people seem to think that SWF is magic I'm not so sure :p

Just keep an eye on number 00 ;)

Well it didn't work for me. My number was 11.

Stupid crystal ball !!!!

ok since im compleetly stupid kindly explain that to me then?

:D cause im drawing a blank just like Jezz lmao :D

If the two digits are A and B then the number that you first think of is

10A+B

the sum of the two digits is:

A+B

then subtracting the sum of the digits from the original number you have:

10A+B - (A+B)

which equals

9A

Therefore what ever two digit number you choose ends up as being divisible by 9.

Thus the number MUST be 9,18,27,.....99 all of which have the same symbol against them!

grr, this is annoying, ive done loads of numbers, ALL of them give the right symbol, how does it work, they are not the same symbol, it must be reading my mind!

edit - i see, the thing hanges the bloody symbols every time, cheating bloody thing ;)

All possible combinations yield the same symbol - try picking two sets of two digit numbers - they will both have the same symbol. It's a mathematical progression.

It is quite neat that each time you try, the symbol changes, but the symbol against 8,18,27,36,45,54,63,72 and 81 is always the same. See the proof above

Ok just out of interest lets start a poll, who didn't understand it or couldn't figure it out in under 15mins and do you drive a MANUAL or AUTO :D :D  ;)

Glad it kept you amused! Clarkey I expected better from you!

:D AHa!!!!!

Got it.

Everytime is starts again, the symbols change around, ie. if 72 was a cross, then next time it'll probably be a moon or something else, so whatever you devise your number by, it'll always choose the right one as there is only a certain amount of numbers that can be reached by adding 2 numbers and then taking them away.

Hope this makes sense.......:D

Hey guys are you ignoring my mathematical proof that the answer has to be a multiple of 9!

I was never good at maths, got a B for maths GCSE.

right everyone one and his aunty has come up with some fancy mathamatical asnwer ect, but how do you explain in plain simple english, how that symbol the very one i think of time after time comes out correct? no matter what i choose it gets it correct, now i understand the theory, but how does it know what to put up there?

because its flash, its simple coding,

basically if you see a smiley face first time and a pentagram the second time, you will notice a pattern of smiley faces the same as the pentagrams.

they are just little tricks.

Me too ! But there's no need to stop learning at that point ...

I'll give it a go.

Create a web page where 9, 18, 27, 36, 45, 54, 63, 72 and 81 all have the letter Z next to them and all the other numbers have random symbols against them just to distract the viewer.

Think of a two digit number, add the digits together and subtract them from your original number. Look up the symbol next to your number - it has to be a Z, now play some spooky music and reveal the letter Z.

Next time the page is refreshed choose a different symbol.
