Driving the car today lowish on petrol just below 1/4 tank and every time i took me foot off the accelerator to slow down the car kangarood applied a little throttle and all was ok , filled up with petrol and the problem was much better although still there a little bit

 

Just had a new CAS connectror put on as the old one cracked and caused mahem every time i hit a bump, ie car cut completally out

 

any bodies ideas would be appreciated

 

The car is a 91 Auto

How's the fuel pressure ?.

Does it hiss when you open the petrol cap ?.

When was the last time you have a fuel filter change ?.

 

Have you run an ECU diag just to make sure it's nothing obvious ?.

Usual 55 code and the usual pressure hiss when i open up the fuel filler cap , had a new fuel filter, regulator and damper about a month ago.
