Oil Starvation-Nissan knew about it! WTF?

In the book(300ZX companion etc.) it states that while testing the car and it's newly designed engine they experienced oil starve problems.

So why didn't they sort it out? Baffled!?!?!?

Anyone else got any tech thoughts about this?

Project 1547 - Out of the Blue

Are those the 200mm HKS Mushrooms? I am also in the process of fitting the SZ 2.5" inlet piping with HKS filters but I am struggling to get the filters to sit low enough to live under the nose panel! My MAF fouls on the hose of the tall UK spec oil cooler. If I manage to orient them low enough, they protrude past the centre line so there isn't space to fit both next to eachother.
Do you know if Jim modified/cut the silicone coupler that goes to the MAFs to get these to sit nicely?

Looking for OEM Radio\Cassette for my 1991 300ZX TT

Looking for an OEM radio that would fit my 1991 300ZX TT. The one that came out of it was a Clarion Model # PP-9528L. Part # 286-7506-03. Working would be great but one not working I would be intersted in as well. any reply would be appreciated.
