Post frenzy tonight :D

Right, i only have 225/45/16 front tyres yet the driv side wheel rubs slightly on the arch liner when turning sharp left. i think the liner is pretty smooth ie not sticking out, what can I do - 16" and rubbing goddammit?!

I'm sure ripping the arch liner off would be bad, and I'm not *that* bothered by it, but it'd be nice to fix :)

Thanks in advantix

Surely that should be 225/50/16 for the front and 245/45/16 for the rear. Not suggesting that's the problem but it's not 'right'.

Is it possible that you already have lowering springs ?

They're not standard wheels - Hasemi (never 'eard of 'em  ) Split Rims. My rear tyres are 245/35/16...

Lowering springs? Hmm, not impossible I suppose, any way of telling? Cos logic would say that lower profile tyres = more space around them

Thanks

something defo not right there, my 18 225 40 dont rub at all and its been lowered, sounds like the wheel offset may be wrong

Thanks boys, yeah think i agree it must be the offset. Well theres certainly nowt wrong with the handling etc so i suppose i'll leave it til I've got loadsa money for different alloys. It's the *wrong* direction for spacers isn't it?

My car has the standard 16's on and they only just miss the inner arch by a gnats cock. I thought that was just how they was, am i wrong.
