I'm just about to order a sub box for the Z - not that I even own one yet but still!

 

I just want to make sure I get one that will still fit in the boot OK, so can anyone tell me how deep the boot is from the bottom of the rear window to the floor please?

 

From what I can remember from my old Z, I think it was about a foot and a bit, but I need to be sure.

Custom make one to a good fit! easy to do, hell once ive done one i can do it 4 u!

If you want the box to be under the shelf thingy, and you should to stop theives eyes, its a fair amount less than a foot.

To the actual glass id say about 16-18 inches.

I might take you up on the custom made idea, but at the moment I should be getting a sub box from a previous insurance claim and I just wanted to make sure it would fit the Z.

Dont the 2 seater and 2+2's have a different boot depth im sure one has a deeper boot but i cant remember which.

I'm sorry, but every time I read the subject of this thread, I get that song in my head "How deep is your love"! :)

 

I think the 2 seater boot is deeper than the 2+2 boot..

 

And Stuart - that'll look very nice if you're building one just like that.. Hmm.. Very nice ideeeeed :) (ideas spawning in jelly like brain..)
