Timing belts

Does any one have any info on timing belt changes. i.e. time it take to do and at what mileage it is required?:confused:

    It's 60,000 miles. But when I bought my inmport I was told to get it done straight away as a precaution. You should pay about £250 or so. It's not a DIY job as a hell of a lot of stuff needs dimantling and puting it back requires proper alignment etc.

    Hi again I see your from Ipswich - well SE -Nissan does it for aroung £250 and he's in Maldon, Essex.
