Lights - Fog lamp upgrade...

Hi all,

I've been looking at this: http://www.z32.org/html/foglights.shtml

It looks like it might be a good alternative to the "Jeff Headlamp/Baco-foil" upgrade. Has anyone tried removing the glare guard from their fogs? Any comments on this?

Is it legal? Do I need to inform my insurance company?

Should I change the bulbs while I'm doing this, and if so, what type of bulb are they?

Appreciate your thoughts on any of this!

Cheers,

Russ.

I did this on mine and put 130W bulbs in.

Makes a big difference but they are still only fog lights and don't light up the road ahead of you very well.

As you can't drive around with your fogs on all the time without being pulled you may as well use main beam.

I have been looking out for a replacement for the fogs that has some kind of beam to light the road ahead to help with the standard lights but haven't found anything.

Maybe I should just buy a rally pod with 6 KC Daylighters? ;)
