Redline... oh dear

Anybody noticed this months' Redline? Bright yellow zed with a hideous flame pattern up it from australia...

How could somebody do that to it!??! Sniff... it's even got flame pattern *inside* the car....

Yup, we've seen it and I think that though we generally like the quality of the work we all think the outcome is hideous! Have a look at the Redline thread started by ChrisC in the General Chat forum.

Cheers!

ah right... your signature photo... those wheels look great! which ones are they?

I've no idea, but I wish they were mine! I stole the avatar from another Z site. It was the thumbnail that referred to a larger image. I've got a bigger pic of the whole car, but it may well be an N/A as it does not have a spoiler on the back, oh yeah, and its a SWB model. I just loved the colour and those wheels!:D

Just found all the pics of the car, it's the one from http://www.z32.com

very nice...

Just need to figure out what the wheels are, from the blurb they appear to be Yokohama's, but now feeling dim and ignorant as I thought they only made tyres, not wheels!

From the product review here....

Yokohama Super Advan Racing Rims - This rim is the absolute SHIT! (at least, in my opinion) Fantastic design and quality, extremely unique (you don't see copies of them nor are they advertised) and comparable in weight to the stock rim despite my rim being an 18". Not to sound arrogant, but I have seen Porsches, Zs, Supras, and pretty much every other car enthusiast take a good hard look while I sit next to them at a light. I've had a few conversations at lights started when the other driver wanted to know what kind of rim it was. An ego booster to say the least. I saw these in Options way back in early 96, and finally found an importer in August of that year. I don't want to even mention what I paid, but for the un-commoness and uniqueness of the rim, it was a price well paid. The rumor is they've been discontinued... Yokohama has come out with a Gen 2 Advan now anyway (but the spoke curve is substantially less which was part of the advans charm)http://www.z32.com/views.htm

Also one of the nicest Z's iv'e ever seen....

3 SPOKE alloy design also won the W.O.R.S.T wheel design of the century lol (im dead serious) they came in as the worst design to be put into production ever.

but what ever makes your bum hum :D. Wheels are always a personal choice and if you do choose some, choose them because you think they look good, not other people.

I do really like those 3 spokes... but again it's how they end up looking on my car, I think they go really well with the colour. Mine I'm keeping standard silver, until I can find somebody to give a really nice TVR style pearlescent silver/blue paint job for a good price. Apparantly TVR charge £3k just for the paint on those colours!!!

Love the other multi-spokes though
