Hi All,

 

After lurking for some time, I have deicded to bite the bullet and ask for the vertiable hen's teeth....

 

If anyone is selling or thinking of selling their UK Z, please let me know. Cash is waiting for the right car. I am looking for any good UK example preferably that has been unmolested. I have been viewing Auto Trader for some time, but know that most of the guys/girls on here are jolly good eggs and can be trusted slightly more than Mr R Geezer from Auto Trader.

I'm thinking about it but it all depends if I get the chop from my job in the next week or so. Things are bad in the city :(

 

91 UK TT Black manual completly standard apart from stereo and SS exhaust with no cats (still got original cats and stereo in basement).

 

I do really like this car but I only drive it once or twice a week so my head says sell but.... It is the best car that I have ever had. What to do :confused:

 

I could go out and buy a little small engined diesel and go to the pumps only once every three months, pay peanuts insurance and not worry or care that some git will nick it. Still sounds horrible:(

ev - I am also looking for a uk manual TT. Won't be buying for a few weeks myself which could tie in nicely with your job decision. pm me any more details if you like. Only trouble is I live in Cheltenham. If the car is right - the journey to London would be made in a flash, however.

For some reason I could not pm you. As I said this is just a maybe not a definate (I don't want you to think that I'm on here to wind anyone up).

 

Even though this is not the for sale forum, and in fact this car is not yet for sale and may never be. The Details are:

 

Black UK 91 TT

Leather and completely stock, apart from the stainless steel exhaust but with the cats removed which I still have.

 

I have changed the stereo but kept the standard cassette and cd player that the car left the factory with in storage.

 

I have all the history I even keep the bills for the oil changes. It's done 88K and the only repairs that I have had to do is a new clutch, front bushes and front rotors. Oh and the car is serviced by SE nissan so there is a route where some history can be checked.

 

I've toyed with the idea of doing some performance mods but as I hardly drive the car and am not a boy racer I figured that I could live with around 300 horses.

 

The only car that I have owned that I have enjoyed nearly as much as the Z is an MGB roadster I had many years ago. Maybe thats why I like to keep it as close to as it left the factory.

 

I've just thought, I have no idea what this car is now worth?

 

Anyway with some luck I won't get the boot, the markets will pick up, I'll get a pay rise and my shares will be worth a fortune. :D

Err, actually I mixed up ev's post and yours, he mentioned working in the City and I know Mark lives in W London - so I'm not psychic at all - just careless and lucky - LOL :)

Well I still have not got the axe yet but then again I have been hiding in the stationary cupboard in the office. If they do realise that I'm still there and sling me out I'll let you know when I come to sell it.
