SMALL K&N filter. Where to put?

When stumbling through the mass of automotive bits and bobs that I have accumulated over the last few years I found a small K&N filter. Looks like a crankcase filter which I may have had for an old cooper s engine a few years OK.

 

But it is new and very shiny and surely would look better under the bonnet of my Zed as opposed to the floor of my garage.

 

Any where benefit from a nice and shiny chrome filter with an outlet of 12-15mm without stretching it, maybe 20mm with some persuading?:confused:
