Hi Guys,

I'm new here and sorry for no introductory post yet but have an issue with my Z and I'm told you guys are a fountain of knowledge.

Ive a 93 Jap import 300zx TT manual. My issue is I started her for the first time in about 2 months (only driven for events or good weather). I was just leaving it warm up while fitting a new steering wheel when I notice the fuel dropping very quickly.

I turned it off and got out and notice petrol in front of the right exhaust, upon inspection then once off I noticed it was leaking from the mid section of the right exhaust.

Does this sound like an injector is stuck open? As im assuming otherwise the fuel would of stopped once I turned it off but it didnt.

Injectors were changed to rb25 along with ungraded fuel rail last year

Thanks in advance guys

If it’s pouring from the exhaust, then it should have been running at least 1 cylinder down.

If you’re sure that was the case, yes an injector is dumping fuel or an o ring has split where the injector fits the rail. Pull the spark plugs, it should be obvious which cylinder.

Absolute priority should be changing the oil, fuel dilution of the oil will destroy an engine double quick time!
