You need to use automatic transmission fluid in it. The best thing to do is jack it up and chock the wheels that are on the ground and put axel stands under the car, never get under the car when just supported by the jack my sound obvious but some people do it. Take off plastic under try, start car and get someone to tern steering from lock to lock you shod then see where the oil is coming from.

All the best Sid

Power steering system tends to leak at the connection below the resevoir a little but if a big loss of fluid in one go it is almost certainly the main high pressure hose from the pump to the rack.

This liitle beauty is over £100 at Nissan however if you remove it and find a local hydrolic hose company they can replace the hose using the end fittings from the original and expect to pay around £25 to £35. Best fluid Dextron 111
