Hi,

 

Does anyone one know of anywhere that does auto box rebuilds to a high standard. I have spoken to SE about their fast road rebuild and they want £2300 to recon the box, upgrade it a fast road rebuild and supply and fit an oil cooler.

I am pushing 380 horsepower through the box so am dunious about replacing it with a standard recon box.

 

 

Any help would be gratefully recieved.

Covert to manual cos they can hold 600bhp ish. ;) and cost less.

I'd double check that price - I had same work done there and I think it was around £1,500.

you could buy a scrapper for that price take the box and make ure money back on selling bits left over.............................................................strap me why do these places still think ure made of money just because its a z

i was told that the fast road rebuild is £1850, fitting is £179.99,oil cooler is £249.99 with £49.99 for fitting. :mad:

Got mine done at Ivan Autos 01707-646542 they collect the box, recondition it and return it.

 

I paid £600 for overhaul and £130 for the convertor + VAT

 

I had the box fitted by Richard at RD Motors in Harrow who has looked after my four Zs and some others. 020-8427-8890
