Qn: Off the lights...

Whats the quickest way to launch an AUTO Zed off the lights?

I've come up with the following methods:

1. Right foot on brake, then right foot on throttle.

2. Left foot on brake, right foot on throttle as left foot lifts.

3. Right foot on throttle in neutral, flick gear to drive.

I've only tried 1.

I'd imagine 3 would destroy the gearbox?

Suppose 2 might work well if done well, kind of like reaching a biting point?

This is purely for theory's sake you understand :) !

Any thoughts?

Cheers

Pete

Had a conversation with Andy at Santa Pod about this at one of the Run wot u brung days... Andy suggested car in drive, foot on brake, and about 2,000 revs on the throttle....

Sounds like a bit of a tyre shredder though :)

No. 2 then? Guess you've got to keep the revs pretty sensible while the brakes are holding the car?
