Having just spent a week driving to Kidderminster and back every day for work, in the mud and snow and spending £150 on petrol and putting umpteen hundred miles on the Zed I've bought a nice sensible car for this purpose.

Bought a bargain 1994 Fiesta 1.3 Auto(!!) down at the auctions, driving this about really makes me appreciate the Zed!! :D :D :D I would post some pics but I've convieniently misplaced my camera ;)

Just spent 2 hours cleaning the Zed, looks gorgeous and hopefully reducing the mileage I put on it should keep it that way - one weeks driving the zed this week and I couldn't even read the rear numberplate for the dirt

Do most Zed owners have a daily driver?

Pete

Nope but I only use it for business trips and the Tax man pays me 40p a mile to drive it. This resulted in a rebate of £950 this year!

Hi Pete,

Yeah you past me at the Mustow Green island heading towards bromsgrove on Wednesday Night!! You looked pretty dirty then.

Nice to see another ZX in my local area.

With regard to using the zed to work I only live 3 miles away so not a problem.

Whereabouts in kidderminster do you work.

Hi mate, gutted I missed another Zed on the road, must keep my eyes open!

I'm in Kiddy for 2 weeks, actually Hartlebury, I work in Leamington which isn't *that * far to go normally.

I've had the ar$e out with the Zed a couple of times, but nothing like what happened 1/2 an hour ago in the new fiesta. Straightening up off an A-road roundabout I went to speed up and the front wheels decided to go where they wanted. I weaved left and right just missing the kerb and sh1tt1ng myself and giving mrs shrimp a heartattack before regaining control. Must have been oil or something on the road cos it's not that cold here. I feel much safer in the Zed  its much more predictable. I'm just glad there was no-one else about :( .

Now I have to take mrs shrimp out for an indian to "apologise" for some git with an oil leak.

Cheers

Pete
