This pic is the base of the steering column where it is supposed to fit tightly through the bulhead spigot and form a bearing carrier, the steering wheel on this zed could be moved about quite an alarming amount as it could pivot on the top fixings.

I know I`m a bit nuts about my old thunder but shit! This poor person must be next best to heartbroken.....or is it just me??

 

Mind you though, you can get sold a real nail if you are not careful. When I was looking for my Zed, there was a nice looking one in Gloucester for £6K. Nice until you got past the filler that is.

 

BTW, the old thunder is perfect, cheers mate.

Mmm can only tell it as it is ...sure he will be not happy but then at least he knows....ignorance is`nt always bliss.
