Noticed last week that the tyre on my space saver spare wheel has Jap writing all over it. Considering my motor is a UK car is this right? Or has someone swopped my UK spare for a Jap spare?

I dunno Nick,

I've got a J spec.

Might be worth taking it to a decent tyre shop just to make sure it's the right one.

Cheers,

Will get my tyre man to sort it out when he puts the Proxes on the car.

Jap tyres are illegal over here. Even if they are exactly the same, if the dont have that E win a circle on it, its illegal, and could void any insurance you have if you have an incodent with it on. I suggest you change it.

Mine has no Japanese writing, its a Bridgestone 125/70/16 I think it is.
