I've just spoken to Luke at the Z Centre and providing we get a group of 10 or more he can sell us the Racelogic Traction Control with Launch Control for £530 inclusive. If you want it fitted then that's only an extra £100. It's even cheaper than Torqueic by £30, or £80 if you have it fitted!

 

I'll also post on Scoobynet and the 200SX forum to try and up the numbers.

To know the wheels are spinning, it needs a speed reference off a set of undriven wheels. It may well work with older 4wd systems but with the modern torque splitting centre diffs etc I can't see how it could tell if the wheels were spinning....

usually, 1 wheel is gonna break traction 1st & rotate faster than the others, so unless all 4 wheels slip the same amount i guess it'll know slip is occouring.

it cuts the fuel supply & therefore power to the rear wheels when slip is detected. it does this much faster than you can, so you can safely floor it without the rear end beaking away.

 

it is a race bred system with adjustabe slip control - so in the wet you can have near zero slip, & in the dry have a little sideways action without too much risk! :cool:
