Whilst looking for a DIN panel to fit 52mm gauges into my new car I found this site for one for the 300zx, I thought someone might be interested.

tell the boys and girls John - what came close enough to be worthy of replacing that beast you had?

Yeah, saw these a while back, only for LHD cars tho unless you want them pointing towards your seat ;)

Didnt someone get in touch with them asking about ones for right hand drive, and they needed an order of at least 100 to make them.

Hi Willie, financially I had to sell the beast, cetainly not by choice. The replacement had to be cheaper to insure be able to be a daily driver and not too much slower than the zxTT. I have bought a MR2 GT Turbo slightly modified to 265/270bhp so

Beast 2 is a "baby beast". Still very dissapointed to have had to sell the zxTT but the Turbo MR2 is better than a Focus or some such boring car.

John,

Where did you get your mr2 from? One of the young lads in our office wants one and I'm sick of him pestering me for ads and websites he can look at!

Any help much appreciated!

I got mine from Mike Edginton Cars in Silverstone, (http://www.carsatmec.co.uk). He has quite a few on his site and more arriving, however the number of MR2 MK2 coming in is seemingly dropping off as most places have started to focus on bringing in the MK3 instead.

Other places to look are:

Goulders, Nottingham

Charlesworths, Nottingham

Japanese Imports, Cheshire, http://www.japanese-imports.co.uk

RAM City, Derby, http://www.ramcitymotors.co.uk

Findit.co.uk

IMOC.co.uk

Quite a few appear on the Autotrader web site/magazines.

A search on import toyota mr2 in yahoo will keep him busy for ages.

Loads of dogs out there though, I had to see over half a dozen over 3 weekends before I found the one that was good enough to buy.

Also I know of a gem of an NA if he wants a good one which is about to go on private sale soon as the guy wants a turbo. It is a 1994 MR2 MK2 Revision 3 NA Tbar in light metallic blue in superb condition. It has just had the clutch done too. If it had been a turbo I woud have had it.
