Not much fun being out of work but hey ho! Mrs T is working nights...up at the Valley traffic lights pulling punters. ROFL :D So tomorrow I will have about 50p after her servicing 5 clients. Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!! I never said that. :D

Q. What would you hope to see achieved in your brief lifetime on this planet?

Not us personally but in terms of science etc.

People cashing in and moving to Moon Base Alpha after buying that 1/3rd of an acre sold to you in Safeway at the checkout?

Populating the Mars bar?

Claiming that you were there when that 100 km wide rock hit the planet destroying all life for another millenium?

Or seeing Jesus?

Just a thought! LOL :D

I'd like to see us colonise another planet/astral body (the moon, mars, etc) in my lifetime, but I don't think it'll happen..

Then again, I'd like to see us sort all the sh*t out on our own planet, first.. So.. y'know.. that's just never gonna happen.. It's just part of human nature to be inherently destructive.

I'd like to see scientists find a cure for cancer, and AIDS (or, more accurately, HIV), leukemia, parkinsons (fairly close to my own heart, that one), CJD, dimentia, altzheimers, and a host of other ailments.

(See, I'm not entirely selfish)

Just once I'd like to see a politician from any side (or country) do something constructive and useful, out of a sense of duty and reponsibility, rather than self-interest, greed or bum licking:rolleyes:

An honest and straight answer every now and then wouldn't go amiss either.........or am I living in fantasy land?:(

Id like to see my brain put onto a computer disk and therefore I can live forever happy in a computer generated world like the matrix.

That would be good

woohoo 'Microsoft.ID forward slash IQ.html'

you wanna get your brain MRI'd onto floptowopoptical media ?

you'd have to trust the Taiwanese to build a drive to record your soul onto media created by the Koreans on software out of Redmond.

I think I'd rather be dead ;)

senna: its actually more likely to be created by BTlabs or MIT in the states :)

it will happen one day,

BTW great question.

Its a very difficult question to answer without revealing a little more of yourself than you'd like, but hey - I'd like to see an end to cancer. Thats all.

I know Mike. and once it is created it will be installed and licenced and copied.

the next 100 years aint gonna be pretty...

It would not matter who invented it because it would be built like everything else as cheaply as possible, probably by the Taiwanese, and would break down or blow up after being used a couple of times. Then Presidents and Politicians would lie and say that they never knew it was going to happen. So Mike make sure they keep a hard copy of your brain.

Hugs and kisses
