I got around to test fitting one of the Kuruma Z window moldings and they don't appear to fit flush to the body, nor can I make them do so. I hate the gap. Has anyone else fitted these and found the same or managed to remedy it?

Ignore the dusty car - clearly been in my garage too long.

I was thinking of getting these as Zcentre dont have the rear window ones only the doors. Worried about quality now. As not cheap saw them at over $400 plus shipping.

They look better than faded ones regardless. Some told me they'd never notice the gap they leave. Others told me they didn't have the gap issue on theirs... but others did report the same as me. Also heard people saying they have metal showing through on theirs after only a few years. Overall they're good, considering there isn't really an alternative but you'll have to come to your own decision after wading through all the conflicting info about them.

They served a purpose for me test fitting some end caps I created but I ultimately decided to keep my OEM set and just refurbish them. Simply because I didn't like the gap on mine. You might be luckier. Others are very happy with the Kuruma.

How are you going to refurb yours? Mine are showing metal now
