So after nearly now 15 years plus of having both Zeds off the road, I'm Determined to get one back on the road this year. Been out of the Club so long and I'm guessing lots of the old parts places are no longer in existence. ( I was sad to see Mike Freeny had passed) spent many a long phone call with him. Zed tec which I know has finished was the start of the demise of my Zed been on the road. Having gone there for a forged and balance engine and upgraded gt28turbos.unothodox pullies. ported and polished head. When I finally got it back. It had a trip to john DIxon for a Greddy profic E-01 boost controller. Cant praise John enough he transformed the car  and was very helpful. Is he still here? I know he was doing a V8 dry sump engine swap. There was somebody else doing that on here too, Wish I could remember his name. He was I a band Birmingham way. I want to say leigh but??

Any way, loving the new found power of the zed it ripped the flywheel. Trip to Zedtec and there it stayed for 20 months no matter of how many phone calls and visits it never got sorted. left out side which started the rotting of the sills and more. Finally got it back after it went to another place who Bought the Zedtec name and it needed loads spending on it for MOT , which at the time I didn't have, also  family illness, it was put on the back burner and there it stayed. After a close call last year with the Grim reaper myself, I decided that I have to get my finger out and sort One of them out. The one has been garaged but is needing putting back together after a slight front end  near side knock I bought it like that damaged, no Structural damage but I thought I'd save some money before taking it to the garage to be fixed and just never got to rebuilding it when it arrived back home, that was a big mistake.

So plan is to get it put back together and it would seem the place to contact is now POWERZED, so I will be contacting him this week to see what can be done.

I have no idea who is in the market or where to go for parts any more so any help on this would be great.

Going forward I think get my 96 2+2 back on the road for this year, and then see about getting the other engine checked over the winter, and doing a transplant as I think the body work on the 92 is too far gone.

Will keep you all updated on how things are going .

Looking forward to seeing how you get on. Theres a few guys who sell second hand bits on the Facebook group, a guy called Ifti, and a breaker called Paul Clements (Banzai Breakers) who runs on eBay.

Zcentre is uk based and has a decent amount of bits and then I’ve bought a few parts from CZP and from Z1 (both USA).

Then there Amayama which does OEM from Japan, I’ve used them and it was very good, got some brand new headlight rubber surrounds and other random clips and stuff at a good price
