hi guys wonder if you can help me with my zed. it's 1994 m reg twin turbo manual. standard except for air filter and exaust. vehicle runs fine at idle and under normal driving conditions. vehicle is also fine at boost under 3500rpm but anything over this under hard throttle car hesitating/missfiring car feels like it wants to go but holding back and popping and banging. have put consult on and no fault code in memory. any advise would be very grateful to save getting the manual out and going through pain staking tests. vehicle is always run on optimax. many thanks steve !!!

have you checked all the usual? Injector/coilpack/PTU harnesses, spark plugs etc..?

Do yo get a lot of smoke when stationary after a short run ?.

Could be a fuelling problem - when was the fuel filter last changed - or maybe air filters? they're cheap to replace and if not done for a while its worth doing them anyway.

Could also be dodgy TPS not reading pedal travel correctly - have a look at it with a multimeter and see if the voltage change is smooth - theres write ups on here about how to do it - did you do the consult while driving the car - or while idling?
