My Z is missing the moldings which fit the underside of the boot hatch and fill the gap between the body & tail lights and the hatch itself... leaving an ugly gap and somewhere for water to creep further in than it should.

I am trying to determine the parts needed and am quite certain I need the ones marked green in the diagram below (although these seem to be the only parts I can find so I hope there are no differences between LWB and SWB?). However, I have no idea what the part marked purple is or if I need that too?

Also if anyone has any pictures of the underside of their hatch... that would really help me visualise what I am missing. And if anyone has any of these parts spare for sale, I would be very interested.

Pretty sure they’re not the same from LWB and SWB.

What do you have or want ?

Ah - That's tricky then. Thanks for the heads up on the LWB/SWB difference!

I am missing all of those hatch underside moldings... so am looking for all of them for a LWB. Do you have any for sale?

Give Ifty a shout too. I think I am missing those too. Are there like these holes where something should clip in? The opposite bit facing the rubber?

Thank you Andrew. Huge help. I guess with the LWB side moldings being NLA that might be a harder hunt.
Appreciate the links!
If you have any luck let me know as I think mine are missing too

Would you recommend them over Amayama? I see some conflicting reviews for Amayama online.

I've used them several times without any problems. Very fast shipping from Japan with FedeX.

The only thing that can slow things down is if an item you want is not available (despite being listed as not discontinued)

then order invoice quote back to you (parts plus shipping) will be withheld for you to decide what to do.

BTW the "purple" item in your diagram is the anti-vibration weight attached to the underside of the tailgate. A mysterious

block of metal suspended on rubber mounts it was designed to reduce tailgate flutter.

How interesting! Thanks. Does this live under the hatch lid plastics or somewhere in line with the moldings?

Seems like a very skipable part that I'd never miss and yet I quite want one.

It's funny - I also found the front/side trims so just purchased the rears from Banzai in the end. Thanks for checking back in here though

Rears?? There are just front and sides right? Are you talking about the rubber trim that tucks into the screen and connects the interior side plastic trims?

Not sure we are talking about the same thing. From my picture in the first post in this thread I am talking about the trims marked in green. Clipping onto the underside of the rear hatch to bridge the gap between the hatch lid and the car body - one trim each side and two trims at the back of the car.

Hahahaha! It was me being dumb. When you said back of the car, I was thinking back of the tailgate, as in towards the end of the glass as in toward the front of the car lol!!! Doh!

Bit late asking but why the gap between the left and right trims ? The middle section.does this gap allow water in?

All trims are cosmetic, the boot seal keeps the water out.

The gap I assume is for lifting the tailgate up.

Only asking cos i have taken oem spoiler off and fitting perspex strip , this is easily broken so thought there must be a small piece to finsh it off .   When i looked at pictures of american zeds without spoiler they seem to have one big piece no gap. Unless pictures are misleading.
