Guys and gals need your advice.

My rear panel has leaked liquid and looks naf in the daylight. It still lights up but I am not impressed with the product after splashing out £150.

I have attached a photo, what should I do. I don't blame Smithy as he has tried to get in touch with the guy in the states and so have I, but we just get ignored.

Do you think I should be complaining and what can I do next, put it on TT.net for example.

Ideas anyone??

Cheers

Martin

It is most probably just an EL sheet behind the 300ZX writing.

Water has got in there cos it wasnt sealed correctly and its sitting between the glass and the EL sheet. There should be no reason why you cant just take the panel off, open it let it dry and clean it then buy some new sealer and seal it again. There is a write up on TT.net about how to make your own glow panel. It also tells you how to open the panel up and re-seal it too.

Oh dear Martin, not good that mate.

I still haven't fitted mine but the reversing light lenses are in need of attaching to the main panel. Macca knows how to do this so it's just a question of getting round to it! Not seen that though, water getting in. Bummer!

Thanks Stuart, I guees this is my only option but I am shit at this kind of thing :( it really isn't good enough, for the price there should be some sort of guarantee or at least an offer to fix it.

Timmy is yours red, fancy swopping with some cash included ;)
