Hi, Guys, does anyone know what and where the brown plug and socket in the passenger footwell goes and does!

Mine is corroded and I need to do something with it.

Help much appreciated.

Its like the one jefftt showed when doing a targa leak brief,  March 17 2014. Will try to get picture soon. UK car

Not than I'm aware unfortunately. I've taken a look at the post you refer to and looks to be the brown M59 (main harness) to E112 (engine room harness) connection.

Two row 18 pin type shared with a number of different circuits including ECCS. Is yours completely shot?

 

Yeah, all mouldy and at least 2 pins shot.do you know if I can buy pair plugs ! Or is it new loom.

 

Is it the Engine side harness plug or main harness socket that has been damaged? You can't get the plug/sockets

from Nissan on their own (AFAIK).  If you can't clean them up or they are corroded beyond use then you are probably

best getting a pair of good plugs out of a breaker with some harness wires still on and cutting out the old and soldering in the

replacement. Alternatively you could just rewire (bridge) the individual damaged pin pairs. Not and easy task given the location.

Last time looking at them I was upside down and went dizzy and eyes turned red ,face puffed up, think I will take seat out and try for level position.

And yes good idea if I can find breaker with plugs will go that route long term, and link out short term .
