Hi, is anyone currently using HKS spark plugs, do they come recommended?

Yeah, had them in my car every since i have had it so don't know what difference they make. Never had any problems. Still going strong for 2 years.

Just done a bit of research on TT.net FAQ and the HKS plugs are made by densos, this plug gets slagged off on TT.Net as being too short for the TT Head!

 

People on there recommend NGK PFR6B-11B as being the only plug suitable for the Z! A slightly colder than standard plug that can take quite a bit of tuning! $52 for 6 from courtesy nissan!

I've had Denso Iridium in mine for a while now - no prblems (touch wood) definately felt a change when I swapped them over.

 

I paid, in the UK, £11.70 each, but I seem to remember someone from the 200group was selling them cheaper, was it Andy Fogg?

TTim, you sure they're not NGK Iridium IX's mate?? I know you had a set off me about 4 months ago...

 

I was thinking of getting another batch. I was doing 'em for £50 all in using special delivery. LMK if anyone's interested again...

 

I've been running 'em in mine for about 6 months - really noticed the difference when I changed over but then I was using crappy standard nickel plugs (in my TT when I bought it). No probs except my crappy autobox >:-(

Hi Guys,

 

Have a look on TT.NET FAQ it makes interesting reading!

 

If somebody has an old iridium plug then post it too me and will see if it does come up short into the chamber!

I checked the reach of mine before they went in, and they were the same as the ones that I'd taken out! Didn't get the vernier out though :D

I can do Denso Iridiums for £55 for a set of 6 but because the plugs come in boxes of 4 that means you have to buy 3 sets at a time. So if you have someone else interested in them (or want 2 sets for your car) drop me a mail.

FFS, whats up with this BB?

 

Just noticed that theres no email button so I thought I'd turn the option on. Go to User CP and find its an old email addy anyway. I try to change it and it wont let me.
