Anyone know where i can get a car cover for my Z i want a decent one ive heard you can get ones where the doors unzip any help would be appreciated

Not cheap but do seem to be the 'dogs' if your car lives outdoors, not as good as a Carcoon but not far off. :D

I placed my order about 3 months ago, but they are not shipping it until the start of March, there's a big waiting list :(.

I got one from Cover Systems as Vijay posted.

 

Macca pointed me in the right direction and they are pukka.

 

Fit like a glove and as said have zips so that you can get into the car with the cover on.

 

Should put mine on really, weather is arse here! Z don't fit in the garage. LOL :D

Been so windy miller down here recently. Had to tie mine to the wheels last time it was on. Will put it on tomorrow.

Never used a cover on a car before, but the cover on my GSX-R used to scratch the paintwork to buggery!:( All that dirt and grit sticking to the surfaces just turns to grinding paste with a little moisture. Then the wind gets hold of the cover and moves it and hey presto - instant matt finish:mad:

 

Don't know if car covers suffer similar problems, but be careful!

If you still need one,I'm selling a brand new Cover Systems covers that i've never used (it's still in the carry case it comes with). £75.00 +p&p if your interested.

Just so you know, these come in two styles for the 2+2.

 

1) Standard

2) High wing.

 

I ordered a high wing as it will still fit a standard so when I want a new spoiler I'm still ok, the standard will not fit over a modified spoiler, so if you upgrade you're stuffed.

 

Disclaimer : This is what I was told by the company I bought it from, they are both the same price so it wasn't a sles pitch as far as I know. However I can not verify this as I don't have it yet. ;)

I bought it for a standard 2+2 Zed, so if your fitting a big spoiler it don't think it will fit.
